As the mountains continue their march from fall to winter, join me for a three-night retreat designed to help you step away from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with yourself.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of New Hampshire's White Mountains, this retreat is an invitation to slow down, move intentionally, and embrace the beauty of the season. Through daily yoga, meditation, nourishing meals, meaningful conversation, and time spent in nature, you'll return home feeling grounded, refreshed, and inspired.

Whether you're looking to deepen your yoga practice, unplug from technology, make new connections, or simply enjoy a peaceful weekend away, this retreat offers space for exactly what you need.

Nestled in the heart of the White Mountains, the beautiful Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa offers the perfect setting for rest and renewal.

Wake up to panoramic mountain views, crisp autumn air, and peaceful surroundings. Spend your free time relaxing at the spa, exploring scenic hiking trails, curling up with a book by the fire, or simply enjoying a quiet cup of coffee overlooking the mountains.

A Typical Day

While every day has its own rhythm, your experience may include:

Morning

  • Meditation

  • Gentle yoga or restorative practice

  • Group dinner (two nights)

Everything is optional. This weekend is yours to enjoy however you need most.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need yoga experience?

Not at all! This retreat is open to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Every class will offer options and modifications so you can practice in a way that feels supportive for your body.

How do I get there?

The retreat will be held at the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa in Whitefield, New Hampshire, approximately a 3-3 ½ hour drive from the Boston area.

Transportation is not included, but I'll help connect guests who are interested in carpooling before the retreat.

What time does the retreat begin and end?

Check-in begins on Thursday afternoon, with our opening gathering and evening yoga session that night.

The retreat concludes after breakfast and a closing practice on Sunday morning, allowing plenty of time for your drive home.

A detailed itinerary will be shared with all registered guests before the retreat.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely!

One of the most wonderful parts of a retreat is the opportunity to meet kind, like-minded people. Whether you arrive with a friend or on your own, you'll quickly feel part of the community.

Can I share a room?

Yes! Shared accommodations are available and are a wonderful way to reduce the overall cost while getting to know another retreat participant.

If you're registering with a friend, simply indicate their name during registration and we'll room you together.

If you're traveling solo and select a shared room, we'll thoughtfully match you with another guest of the same gender. If a roommate cannot be matched, we'll contact you before the retreat to discuss available options.

What should I bring?

I recommend bringing:

  • Comfortable clothing for yoga

  • Layers for cool mountain mornings and evenings

  • Comfortable walking or hiking shoes

  • A reusable water bottle

  • Journal and pen

  • Swimsuit (if you'd like to enjoy the pool or spa amenities)

  • Your favorite book

  • Yoga mat and props

What if I have dietary restrictions?

I will do my best to accommodate common dietary needs and food allergies. Please share any dietary restrictions during registration so we can coordinate with the resort in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

Because retreat planning requires advance commitments to the venue and vendors, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space.

  • Cancellations made 60 or more days before the retreat will receive a refund of all payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made 30–59 days before the retreat will receive a 50% refund of payments made (excluding the deposit).

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the retreat are non-refundable.

If your spot can be filled from the waitlist, we will make every effort to provide a refund, less the non-refundable deposit.

If Tracy Affonso Yoga must cancel the retreat for any reason, all payments made will be refunded in full.
